Fiona Patten was first elected to Victoria’s State Parliament in 2014 and re-elected for a second term in 2018.During those eight years she was a champion for social justice and cannabis law reform. She established a medicinal cannabis taskforce in the first major attempt to fix the ridiculous Roadside Drug Testing laws and then was the driving force behind the Inquiry into the Use of Cannabis in Victoria.

Kristin Viccars, MCIA Board Member, is the Interim Managing Director of MedReleaf Australia. Kristin joined the MedReleaf team with over 15 years’ experience and success working in a diverse range of businesses and industries, both locally and abroad. He has held senior leadership, executive management and consulting roles stretching from start-ups to large billion-dollar global businesses both in the retail and wholesale sectors.

Dr Teresa Nicoletti, AMCA Chair,is both a lawyer and PhD-qualified scientist with 25 years’ experience in the health and life sciences sector. She has gained prominence in Australia as the leading lawyer in the regulation of medicinal cannabis (Federal and State).
Kristin and Teresa will facilitate the discussion with Fiona and will put questions to Fiona on behalf of their respective members.
